Thursday, July 2 6:00 pm, Perkins Family Restaurant Best 4th of July memories and your plans for the 4th

Meeting

Gene led the members in the pledge to the flag and Mason offered a prayer. Jim welcomed Joshua Minnes as a new member into the club. Josh is returning to CU to complete his requirements to receive a teaching certificate.  Jim read a letter from WSDM concerning the cost of $90 a week for six weeks to sponsor a child in their summer camp. Not enough information was available so this was denied. In October we will install the new officers. The board is looking for three new board members to continue service to the club. Contact Laura Auteberry to put your name in the ring. This is a two year term. Door prizes were won by Walt, Laura and Mason.

Announcements

• Mason will continue to contact you to sign up for fair shifts.  Hopefully all will be able to sign up for 5-6 shifts. The Neoga Methodist  men’s group will continue to help with parking and some of the work in the infield.

• Barb announced that Courtney Clark, vocal contemporary, Ashley Mandisa, dramatics, and Jordan Hibler, visual arts, will represent Champaign County in New York City at the ACT-SO national competition July 9-12.

•  The point system, as it pertains to dues reduction, will be instituted beginning in October. This means that as you volunteer for projects and work shifts at the 2 fundraisers, your dues would be reduced as the volunteering accumulates.  All committee chairs need to let Walt know the members  who worked on each project.

• Can you help at Camp Coco July 14th? If so, contact Joyce Remesch for more info.

Hiya.

Help poorness situations worldwide for free! All you have to do is complete quizzes, or play free games on the help poverty website, and their sponsors will directly send funds to organizations whose exclusive goal iz to help poverty situations nationwide! This iz a different idea and it works, because U won't have to spend to assist, still money will even so be transferred to the ones in need.

Thanks for reading this!
